VPNs provide a way for remote users to access your network. If you decide to allow VPN, you should put a policy in place so remote users understand what's allowed for remote access.
This policy's purpose is to help determine if, how, and when employees may use VPN to access internal network resources. It includes a policy you can customize to meet your needs as well as a risk assessment spreadsheet you can use to judge just how much your organization is at risk by not having this policy in place.
