The Oracle application developer will be responsible for writing programs to establish and maintain databases, with maximum functionality, using Oracle software. Working in conjunction with other information technology professionals, the developer will meet the company’s data needs within its tech infrastructure.

In addition to a superior knowledge of Oracle offerings and SQL, a strong familiarity with operating systems and programming software is necessary. An understanding of the company’s security needs and how Oracle applications work within those needs is essential. The developer must also have strong project management skills and be able to provide documentation on the progress of projects.
