Hostile workplace prevention policy

Hostility, violence, and discrimination have no place in a productive work environment for any enterprise of any size. This policy defines the rules and boundaries.
From the policy:
A company goal is to create and maintain a work environment in which people are treated with dignity, decency, and respect. The work environment of the company will be characterized by mutual trust and the absence of intimidation, oppression, and exploitation. The establishment of a productive and non-hostile work environment is essential to the mission of the company. For that reason, the company will not tolerate unlawful discrimination or harassment of any kind. Through enforcement of this policy and by education of employees, the company will seek to prevent, correct, and discipline behavior that violates this policy.
All employees, contractors, customers, and on-premises third-party vendors, regardless of their positions, are covered by and are expected to comply with this policy and to take appropriate measures to ensure that prohibited conduct does not occur. Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against any employee, contractor, customer, or third-party vendor who violates this policy. Based on the seriousness of the offense, disciplinary action may include verbal or written reprimand, suspension, or termination of employment.
The company will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local anti-discrimination and harassment laws and regulations and enforce this policy in accordance with those laws and regulations.
This policy will apply to all employees of the company, as well as all contractors, customers, and third-party vendors who may come in contact with employees of the company. Covered interaction with employees includes on-premises contact and contact through email, social media, and other forms of virtual communication.
