Our BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) Policy describes the steps your employees must take when connecting personal devices to the organization's systems and networks.The purpose of the BYOD Policy is fourfold:
- Audience: Confirm that all staff and volunteers understand that the BYOD Policy applies to them and that there are no exceptions to the policy.
- Policy Importance: Explain why the BYOD Policy exists and why it is important that all staff and volunteers abide by its terms.
- Covered Equipment: Ensure that all staff and volunteers choosing to opt in and connect their own computer device to the organization's systems or network understand which devices are covered by the BYOD Policy.
- BYOD Authorization Process: Describe the required steps each staff member or volunteer who chooses to connect his or her own device to the organization's systems or networks must take to remain compliant with the BYOD Policy.
